"Thank you so much to NSHSS for the Educator Travel Grant! This grant will help provide an opportunity to gain knowledge from agricultural leaders pertaining to the agriculture industry and education that can be brought back to the classroom. "After teaching for as long as I have, I never thought about applying for grants. I thought the process was way too time consuming and didn't think it would be worth the time. I was VERY wrong. The process was very easy as they explicitly tell you what they were looking for in the application and was worth the time. Non-traditional students have limited resources in many communities, and we want to equal the playing field. No child should be left behind, meaning public school and non-traditional students.
