"Receiving the NSHSS School Supplies Grant (Wave 2) in 2023 was a transformative experience for both my students and me. The grant provided essential learning materials that significantly enhanced the classroom environment, making learning more engaging and accessible. With these resources, my students expanded their knowledge, actively participated in lessons, and truly enjoyed their time at school. Seeing their excitement and motivation grow reaffirmed my belief in the power of education and the importance of having the right tools to support student success. I am deeply grateful to NSHSS for their commitment to empowering educators and students alike. Thank You Message for the School Club Cash Grant I am honored to receive the NSHSS School Club Cash Grant, which will greatly enhance the extracurricular opportunities available to my students. This funding will help expand the Model United Nations (MUN) Club, Creative Writing Society, and Community Service Outreach Group, providing students with leadership experiences, creative outlets, and opportunities to make a meaningful impact in their communities. NSHSS’s support reaffirms the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping well rounded, confident, and engaged students. 'I am excited to be a recipient of the educators' professional development grant. There are so many great educator conferences, but I cannot afford to attend if my district is not covering the cost. Being a member of NSHSS allows educators the opportunity to pursue additional professional development too."

Last school year I applied for a grant but was not successful. After reading about other candidates experience with NSHSS, I was encouraged to apply again this school year. "The National Society of High School Scholars is an awesome organization which supports the scholarship of high school students with extracurricular activities. Notably, The National Society of High School Scholars also acknowledges the importance of athletic activities in developing talented youth with the Athletic Sponsor Grant. Grants provide tremendous support to programs, including athletic programs, by extending resources available to each student. My experience with NSHSS as an Educator has been rewarding in identifying high school scholars who are student-athletes."
